TAMBAH DRAMA RECIPES | Kimball Turmeric Chicken

  • For marinade mix:
  • 400g boneless chicken, cut into 2cm pieces
  • 1 ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • ¾ tsp salt

  • ¼ cup oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, thickly sliced
  • 2cm ginger, cut into fine strips
  • 1 large onion, cut into thick wedges
  • 1 carrot, cut into thick strips
  • ½ cup cauliflower florets
  • 5 long beans, cut into 3cm lengths
  • 2 red or green chillies, thickly sliced
  • 6 bird chillies (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp Kimball Oyster Flavored Sauce


  1. Heat oil in a wok and fry chicken on high heat until golden brown. Remove and set aside. Keep any remaining oil in the wok.
  2. Fry garlic, ginger and onion in the oil for 5 minutes. Add vegetables and chillies, stir-fry 5 - 7 minutes, adding 2 – 3 tablespoons water as you stir-fry.
  3. Return fried chicken to the wok, add Kimball Oyster Flavored Sauce and stir-fry another 5 minutes. Take pan off the heat.
