TAMBAH DRAMA RECIPES | KIMBALL TERIYAKI TOFU WITH BABY KAILAN

Ingredients

  • 400g Japanese beancurd, cut into 2cm slices
  • ½ cup potato starch or cornflour
  • ¼ cup cooking oil
  • 150g baby kailan, blanched
  • 1 tbsp crisp fried garlic or shallots
  • 1 stalk spring onion, finely sliced

  • Mixture A (Mix well)
  • ⅓ cup Kimball Teriyaki Sauce
  • ¼ cup boiled water
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

METHOD

  1. Pat dry tofu pieces well with paper towels to remove excess moisture. Coat tofu with flour and set aside.
  2. Heat oil in pan over medium heat and fry tofu for 5 minutes each side.
  3. Transfer tofu onto serving plate with blanched kailan.
  4. Drizzle Mixture A and garnish with garlic and spring onion.
