Ingredients
- 500g Beef (Tenderloin)
- 1 Can Kimball Mushroom Tomato Pasta Sauce
- 1 Tbsp Oil
- 1 Large Onion
- 3 Cloves Garlic
- 1 Inch Ginger
- 1 Inch Galangal
- 2 Pieces Tamarind Slices (Asam Keping)
- 200g Kimball Spiral Pasta, Cook As Per Packet Instructions
- 1500 ml Water / Enough Water To Simmer Until The Beef Is Tender
- Salt & Sugar To Taste
- Red Chilli
- Spring Onions
Method
- Sauté the onion, garlic, ginger and galangal until fragrant.
- Add the beef, stir until the colour changes, then pour in the water.
- Simmer until the beef becomes tender. Add the Kimball Mushroom Tomato Pasta Sauce and tamarind slices.
- Continue simmering until the singgang gravy slightly thickens (not soupy).
- Season with salt and sugar to taste.Serve the Kimball Spiral Pasta in a bowl and pour the tomato singgang beef over it. Garnish with sliced red chilli and spring onions.
